Terms & Conditions

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Connect the Blox, operated by Tijmen Smit, based in the Netherlands. By using our services or submitting a contact form on our website, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Connect the Blox provides blockchain analytics training, practical coaching, and consulting services. The specific scope, deliverables, and schedule of each engagement are agreed upon separately between the client and Connect the Blox before work begins.

3. Quotes and pricing

All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise. Connect the Blox reserves the right to adjust pricing for future engagements.

4. Payment

Payment terms are 14 days from the date of invoice unless agreed otherwise. Late payments may incur statutory interest in accordance with Dutch law. Connect the Blox reserves the right to suspend services in case of non-payment.

5. Intellectual property

All training materials, presentations, documentation, and other intellectual property created by Connect the Blox remain the property of Connect the Blox unless explicitly transferred in writing. Clients receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use provided materials for internal purposes only.

6. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to treat any confidential information shared during an engagement as strictly confidential. This obligation survives the termination of any engagement. Confidential information will not be disclosed to third parties without prior written consent, except where required by law.

7. Limitation of liability

Connect the Blox provides services on a best-efforts basis. Our training, coaching, and consulting are educational and advisory in nature and do not constitute legal, financial, or investment advice. Connect the Blox's total liability for any claim arising from services shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

8. Cancellation

Cancellations must be communicated in writing. For training and coaching sessions, cancellations made less than 14 days before the scheduled date may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the agreed price. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled date may be subject to the full fee.

9. Force majeure

Neither party shall be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or infrastructure failures.

10. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Statement and applicable data protection legislation, including the GDPR.

11. Governing law

These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

12. Changes

Connect the Blox reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
